Features

• The dial has a large testing distance, reducing manual operation errors. The hardness reading wheel has clear values for easy reading.
• One-way magnetizing switch, no need for two-hand operation, convenient and fast.
• The contact surface between the indenter and the workpiece can be observed from multiple angles; it can measure thin and light workpieces of any length (within the allowable thickness for hardness values).
• Two replaceable indenters: equipped with a diamond cone indenter and a 1.588mm indenter, which can measure different hardnesses; supports custom-made bracket tooling according to the workpiece.

Applications

• On-site inspection of large workpieces

For large components that cannot be moved or are inconvenient to transport, such as machine tool guide rails, rolls, pressure vessels, bridge steel structures, etc., there is no need to send the workpieces to the laboratory, and measurements can be taken directly at the installation or use site.

• Maintenance inspection of installed/in-service equipment

Perform non-destructive testing on operating equipment components (such as transmission shafts, bearing blocks, mold cavities) to determine whether the material has hardness changes (such as softening, hardening) due to long-term use, and evaluate the degree of wear or fatigue.

• Testing of curved or irregular surfaces

For non-planar workpieces such as cylindrical (e.g., shaft parts), arc-shaped (e.g., outer walls of pipes), the magnetic design can closely fit the curved surface, reducing errors caused by poor contact.
